Minister for Animal, Sheep husbandry and Fisheries Abdul Ghani Kohli today reviewed the pace of progress on the developmental works in Kalakote subdivision here at an officers’ meeting.Detailed discussions were held on different issues pertaining to the ongoing development works.The Minister directed all concerned officers to make every effort and take all necessary measures for timely redressal of all concerns brought forth in the meeting. He also instructed the officers to ensure funds earmarked for different sectors are fully utilised.The minister said that it is the duty of government officials to ensure that benefits of various schemes reach to the targeted population well in time.
He also stressed upon the officers to maintain close coordination and synergy within the departments so as to maximize efficiency.Later the Minister laid foundation stone of community toilet complex at bus stand Kalakote being constructed at an estimated cost of 14 lakh. He asked the executing agency to complete the work of this complex within three months.Later the minister also kick started the macadamisation work of Panjah to Sehar road and interacted with the locals. He said that connectivity is key to the development of the area and the present government is committed to provide better road facilities to all the villages is the state. He said that special focus is being laid on to improve road connectivity in the state to avoid inconvenience to the people.Additional District Development Commissioner Avtar Singh Chib, SDM Kalakote Khalid Hussain beside all the district and sectoral officers were present in the meeting.
