J.K. Jain, PCS, has joined as DETC Ludhiana, here today. After assuming charge of his office, Mr Jain said that he would work hard and would perform his duties with utmost devotion and honesty. Prior to his posting as DETC, Mr Jain was posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner at Khanna. Known as a very honest and upright officer, Mr Jain has also served as GA to DC Ludhiana as well as SDM at Rajpura. While speaking to media persons after assuming charge of his office, Mr J K Jain said that maximum collection of taxes would be his foremost priority. He said that no person would be harassed in Excise and Taxation Office and he would provide a corruption free work environment.
