In order to ensure adequate preparedness for ensuing District Development Board meeting, DDC Doda Bhupinder Kumar convened a preparatory meeting of all the District Officers here today.During the meeting, the DDC reviewed the sector-wise performance of the major departments and the concerned officers were asked to keep the updated information of their sectors for presentation to the Chairman.The DDC directed the Department Of Forest And Soil Conservation to identify the areas prone to soil erosion, landslides and conduct plantation drives in such areas particularly sun facing, dry Siraz belt of Doda district.The DDC directed the Department of Rural Development to construct boundary walls around several schools, much needed for their protection as identified by the Education Department.
He also directed R&B and Education department to resolve all the disputes and work in coordination to complete the pending construction work in time bound manner.The DDC also directed ACR Doda to conduct joint inspection along with Higher Education Department to identify land for Satellite campus of University of Jammu. The concerned officers were asked to immediately submit change in plan, if any and action taken report on decisions taken in last DDB meeting.ADDC Doda Narinder Singh Bali, CPO Doda Yoginder Katoch, ACR Doda Ranjeet Singh and other district officers also attended the meeting
