The School children of Shangrila Public school (SARWAL) and their parents staged a protest demonstration today against Jammu Municipal Corporation and raised slogans against the department. The reason for protesting was the bad road condition of the lane where the school is located. The protest was led by State Vice President of BJYM Karan Sharma. A large number of School children and their parents gathered and raised slogans against the concerned authorities.In a press statement issued, Karan Sharma said that the department concerned is not looking into the matter seriously and the young and small school children are facing a great difficulty while passing through the area. Sharma also said that such conditions of roads can lead to  many mishappenings and the Administration must look into the matter on priority. He also said that  small school children, who need proper care while walking on the roads have fallen many times due to the holes on roads of that locality. The youth leader also mentioned that it is not just the school children but also the people living in the locality and the people with transport are also facing great difficulties while passing through that area.  He also stated that it is not just this locality but many other areas falling under the jusrisdiction of the concerned department have been ignored  due to which public has suffered a lot.

Munish Raja, Ravi Kiran Sharma, Harsh Sharma, Pinta Gupta, Subash Kohli, Shubham Sharma, School children and their parents were present in the protest demonstration.
