Sagar tours City areas, takes stock of developmental works

The Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Ali Mohammad Sagar today visited various city areas including Nowhatta, Ranger Stop, Nowpora and Khawaja Bazar and took stock of developmental works under execution in these areas.During his tour, Mr. Sagar while interacting with the people enquired about their satisfaction regarding the facilities and basic amenities being extended to them. Mr. Sagar directed the officers to ensure availability of all essential commodities for consumer and basic amenities besides urged for supply of electricity strictly as per schedule.Mr. Sagar also visited the Shrine of Hazrat Naqashband Sahib (RA) and took stock of pace of ongoing work being executed for expansion of the Shrine. He enjoined upon the officers to work in unison and with more zeal and complete the project in stipulated timeframe so that devotees pay obeisance at the Shrine without any difficulty.The Minister directed the concerned agencies to ensure proper drainage and sewage system in the areas inspected during the visit and streamline the delivery system to provide satisfactory services to the people.
