MLA Khansahib Calls on Governor

Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, MLA Khansahib, called on Mr. N.N. Vohra, the Governor at Rajbhavan today. Yaseen briefed the Governor about the various difficulties being faced by the people living in the Khansahib Assembly constituency and apprised him about the status of the ongoing scheme of ‘UMEED’, under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, in his area. He also informed the Governor about certain issues relating to the ‘Model Villages’ scheme, under the Border Area Development Programme and the status of various other Central and State sponsored Schemes in his constituency.Shri Yaseen also discussed with the Governor the serious difficulties being faced on account of the power situation and their other constraints being faced by the people in the Valley in general and his constituency in particular. He also apprised the Governor about his views on the Tosh Maidan Army Firing Range.
