Minister of State for PHE, Forest, Animal Husbandry and Irrigation & Flood Control, Abdul Majeed Padder Thursday visited Hazratbal Kabbamarg in Noorabad to pay obeisance at the holy Shrine on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). While greeting the people on the occasion, the minister expressed hope that this festival would be the harbinger of harmony, peace, progress and prosperity of State in the times to come.Mr Paddar said that Islam teaches us the values of brotherhood, simplicity, compassion and morality, which needed to be vigorously inculcated in today’s trouble torn world. The Minster also prayed for the well-being and happiness and development of the State.Meanwhile, the Minister also took stock of the development work underway for beautification of the Shrine and directed concerned officers of Tourism Department to complete the work on tomb of the Shrine within stipulated time frame so that holy Relic at Shrine could be displayed to devotees from this tomb during Urs days in future.
