Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga today called for extracting more minerals wealth in kalakote adding that projects of coal and other minerals would be revitalized so that revenue realization is increased.The Minister said this while interacting with mine workers at Mogla , Kalakote in Rajouri District.He was accompanied by Minister for Transport, Abdul Ghani Kohli during his visit to Mogla. Stressing on adopting technological innovations for optimum utilization of industrial potential of rural and kandi parts of the state, Ganga asked Industries Department  to organize special camps in Kalakote to give boost to the local and traditional industry.On the sale of available coal at kalakote coal mines, the Minister said that proper sale plan has been formulated to ensure utilization of the same in the best possible manner.

Various other issues regarding the status of consolidated and daily rated workers, release of Cola , increment in daily wages, claim for medical allowances and other required safety measures for workers working inside the coal mine were   also discussed.Addressing mine workers, Minister for Transport reiterated the resolve of the government to upgrade infrastructure and said that focused attention is being given to ensure development of roads and improve connectivity across Kalakote constituency. "With active support from central government, mega projects have been launched in the state, ensuring equitable development of all regions and sub regions," he added.
