Stressing that concerted efforts are being made to ensure better amenities and services to the people, Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology, Pawan Kumar Gupta said that various important projects under the R&B sector are apace in Udhampur to give impetus to overall development of the area.The Minister said this after kick starting black topping works of Mukharji Bazaar road in Udhampur. He said that better road connectivity is imperative for the socio economic development of the area and government is working on a comprehensive plan to upgrade and improve the road network in the state He directed the concerned executing agencies to ensure that the ongoing works are completed in stipulated timeframe with strict adherence to quality norms.
