Hurriyat (G) Wednesday released a list of Kashmiri prisoners who are languishing in different jails of Jammu and Kashmir and are facing secessionist charges.According to the statement issued to KNS, the list reads that 60 Kashmiri prisoners are lodged in district Jail Kotbalwal, Jammu, 15 in district jail Kuthua, 5 in district jail Hiranagar, 18 in district jail Kishtwar, 15 in Reasi, 15 in Poonch, 3 in Rajouri, 130 in central jail Srinagar, 15 in Baramulla, 8 in Kupwara, 8 in Islamabad and 15 in police station Humhama.Hurriyat (G) named the jails wherein the political workers as well as the Kashmiri youth are languishing. “The jails where political as well as Kashmiri youth have been lodged include Tihar jail Delhi, Rajasthan Jaipur Jail, Jodhpur Jail, Ahmadabad Jail, Sangroor Jail, Agra Jail, Gazi Abad Jail, Bangalore, Jaipur Rajisthan, and the number of Kashmiri’s 64, 11, 4, 3, 17, 3, 2, 2, 13, respectively are currently languishing in these jails,” Hurriyat (G) said..
Hurriyat (G) further said that almost 14000 youth and political activists were arrested from 2009 to 2015 while 72 political leaders and youths were detained under PSA.“In this month, PSA was slapped on several political leaders including, Masarat Aalam Bhat (Assistant General Secretary APHC), Showkat Ahmad Dar Kulgam (Office boy Tehreek-e-Hurriyat), Fayaz Ahmad Rather (Unit Head Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Kulgam), Mohammad Amin Parray (Tehsil President Shopian, TH), Mudasir Maqbool Radwani (Kulgam), Mudasir Ahmad Sheikh Rampora Kulgam, Tariq Ahmad Bhat Raidwani Kulgam, Zubair Ahmad Turay Shopian, Asadullah Parray, Zahoor Ahmad Kana( Muslim League), Bilal Ahmad Mahand Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad She.
