Beautiful actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, one among the very few personalities from India who has made her name globally through her work in Bollywood as well Hollywood. She has gained huge fame and has made India proud by grabbing the opportunities in Hollywood. Recently Priyanka has revealed why she decided to leave Bollywood and move to Hollywood. 

In a recent interview with Dax Shepard on the podcast Armchair Expert, Priyanka Chopra talked about her transition from Bollywood to Hollywood and about her journey. In the interview she revealed the reasons why she moved out of Bollywood. She said, “I have never said this so I’m going to say it because you’ll make me feel safe.” She said that she was looking for a way out of the industry as she was tired of politics and had beef with the people in the industry.

Priyanka spilled the beans and said that she, "I was being pushed into a corner in the industry. I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break." She further said, “This music thing gave me an opportunity to go into another part of the world, not crave for the movies I didn’t want to get but I would require to schmooze certain clubs and cliques of people. It would require grovelling and I had worked a long time by then that I didn’t feel like I wanted to do it.”

On how she made her way to work in Hollywood, she said that Acharia of Desi Hits approached her for a music video and career in the US while she was shooting for Saat Khoon Maaf. After grabbing this opportunity, this was a turning point in her career and she had no moving back after that. After the music video, Priyanka Chopra appeared in the International series Quantico which was a super hit. 

Priyanka has not cut her connections with Bollywood as she is soon going to work in a highly anticipated Bollywood film titled ‘Jee Le Zara’ which also stars Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
