Blackia 2: Dev Kharoud’s Upcoming Sequel Gets A New Release Date

After the release of Blackia, fans of Dev Kharoud are eagerly waiting for its second part. And in October 2022, the makers of Blackia revealed the release date of Blackia 2. The film was slated to hit the big screens on May 5, 2023, but now it seems like Blackia 2 is facing a delay.
The makers have now unveiled a new release date which is August 25, 2023. Yes, fans of Dev Kharoud have to wait a little while to watch the second installment. The film Blackia 2 has been written by Inderpal Singh to be helmed by the ace film director, Navaniat Singh.
Dev Kharoud took to his Instagram and shared an announcement post regarding the movie release date. His post read as, “ ਏਸ ਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਬਲੈਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੋਏਗੀ। BLACKIA 2
25 ਅਗਸਤ 2023 ਨੂੰ ਸਿਨੇਮਾਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਚ।”.

The poster has been the same only the release date is changed. Earlier the female lead was also kept under the curtains, but now it has been highlighted that Japji Khaira will be seen alongside Dev and they will be supported by Lucky Dhaliwal. The music department has been handled by Gill Raunta and Desi Crew. Speaking of its plot, from the motion poster it has been believed that Blackia 2 is based on the journey of a man from rags to riches. It has also been hinted from the the tagline which reads, “ਗਰੀਬ ਜੰਮਣਾਂ ਮਨਜੂਰ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਮਰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ। (It is acceptable to be born poor but not die poor)”.
And Dev Kharoud has already set many bars with his film and this sequel is undoubtedly one of the most awaited and anticipated by the public. Hope August 25 is the final release date and fans would watch the action of Dev on big screens.
