Shweta Tiwari Roped In For Gippy Grewal & Tania’s Untitled Punjabi Film

After the song ‘Me & U’, they will next be seen working together in the untitled movie, which is set to be released on March 8, 2023. Pankaj Batra, who directed the film, exclusively used his social media account to inform the internet community of the film's release date.

Now, another great piece of information has been added to the details of the film. Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s actress Shweta Tiwari will be seen in a pivotal role in this project. In a recent interview, the actress is seen along with director Pankaj Batra and reveals her role in the film. The actress revealed that the story of the film is very different and powerful. Not only this, the makers have opted for a very talented star cast, which added dignity to the film.

Though the actress and director have not disclosed the title of the film, they promise the audience a lot of entertainment and say that the film will connect you to reality. Moreover, Pankaj Batra, who has directed ace films like Dildariyaan, Channo Kamli Yaar Di, Bambukat, Sajjan Singh Rangroot, and many more, will surely present appreciable content. And Shweta Tiwari has added a cherry on the cake for being a part of the film. 

This will not be the debut movie of Shweta, as the actress has earlier featured in  Apni Boli Apna Des, which was released in 2009. The film stars Raj Babbar, Shweta Tiwari, Sarabjit Cheema, Arun Bali, Elliott Sinclair, Gopi Bhalla, and Gurpreet Ghuggi in key roles. A few months ago, Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari entered the Punjabi industry as she was featured in Harrdy Sandhu's super hit song Bijlee Bijlee.

Now, mother Shweta Tiwari will rule the big screen with her appearance. Hope the makers unveil the tile soon. Meanwhile, coming to the credits, along with Gippy Grewal, Tania, and Shweta Tiwari, other significant actors in the film include Raj Shoker, Renu Kaushal, Anita Devgan, Nirmal Rishi, and Hardeep Gill. Additionally, Amrit Maan wrote the lyrics for the film, Avvy Sra composed the music, and Rakesh Dhawan wrote the script. The shoot started in May 2022.
