Brahmastra: First Look Poster Of Amitabh Bachchan As Guru Is Out

The Brahmastra makers are leaving no stone unturned to excite their fans in anticipation of the upcoming film. After piquing the interest of fans by releasing a teaser of the much-awaited film Brahmastra, the makers finally dropped the first look poster of Amitabh Bachchan in the Alia Bhatt - Ranbir Kapoor starrer sci-fi film.
In an Instagram message, director Ayan Mukerji thanked the legendary actor for accepting to be a part of Brahmastra and "giving his beautiful energy to our Guru". Ayan called Big B “the Greatest of Indian Cinema”. His caption read, “GURU (and his Prabhāstra – The Sword of Light). Since my first meeting with Mr. Bachchan in 2016 to discuss Brahmstra, he has always said that he loved the concept of this venture – Ancient Indian Astras which are protected in India Today!”

In the long note, he also added, “This blend of ancient Indian Spirituality and modern India – had really appealed to him, and to my great fortune, he agreed to be a part of Brahmāstra… And changed the destiny of our movie – by bringing his magnificent energy to our Guru – filling him with grace, wit and wisdom. So much excitement and respect in my heart today, as we launch our Guru Poster, and celebrate this collaboration with the Greatest of Indian Cinema ! “गुरुर्साक्षात परब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नम:” (More Guru in our Trailer – on June 15th)”.

Brahmastra, the most anticipated trilogy by filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, has been causing a stir on the internet since its introduction for a variety of reasons. To begin with, the epic drama promises to be a never-before-seen visual spectacle with an all-star cast. The film recently received yet another important award.
'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva,' the first instalment of the trilogy and magnum opus, has been added to Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures' global theatrical release plan. This is the first time that an Indian film has made the cut and it will be released on September 9th in theatres all across the world. Apart from Alia, Ranbir, and Amitabh, the film also stars Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna.
