In the last few months, fans have been elated after they heard that the remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is in process. Reportedly, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff will be leading the remake of the 1998 classic comedy movie. The film is now being touted as one of the most expensive Hindi films to date.

But another heartbreaking, or we can say intelligent, decision has been taken by the makers. As everyone is aware, Akshay Kumar’s back-to-back films, including the recent release of Samrat Prithviraj, flopped badly in theatres. Not only this, Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 hasn’t even performed well at the box office. So, now it has been speculated that the makers are planning to change the cast of the upcoming film. The film has been made on a whopping budget of 350 crores and will now change the entire production.

It looks like the failure of Samrat Prithviraj and Heropanti 2 made producers rethink.  According to the latest rumours, the project has been postponed. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has been moved to next year due to funding concerns, according to Box Office Worldwide. The project was supposed to start on floors in October of this year, but it will now start in the first quarter of next year. The film will be produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Bhagnani under their banner, Pooja Films, with Ali Abbas Zafar as the director.

Fans of the first part of the film have to guess who will be suitable in the place of Big B - Amitabh Bachchan, and Govinda. Are you excited about the new cast?
