To create awareness among general masses for Clean and Green India, Clean & Green Mission with the theme “Mera Gaon Mera Jahan” like rest of state was yesterday launched at all panchayat headquarters across the district.Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Mohammad Javed Khan, was the chief guest on the occasion.As many as 500 school children hailing from different government and private schools of Kishtwar participated in the programme and the rally.DC Kishtwar while highlighting the importance of cleanliness laid stress on the construction of individual Household latrines under Swachh Bharat Mission to end open defecation. He also asked the participants to avoid use of polythene bags.The programme was attended by ADDC Kishtwar Mr. A.S Chib, ADC Kishtwar MR. Mohammad Hanief Malik, ACD Kishtwar Mr. Akhter Qazi, BDO Kishtwar Mr. Sunil Bhutyal and other District Officers and officials were also present
