Senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman Islamic Political Party Mohammad Yousuf Naqash while strongly condemning the burning of banner bearing Quranic verses in Rajouri has said that this shameful and cowardly act by communal Hindu zealots has hurt the religious sentiments of Muslims and is intolerable. The mischief mongers did this to flare up communal riots and divide and is the part of conspiracies hatched for displacement and persecution of Jammu Muslims on the direction of Anti Islam and Muslim organizations particularly R S S and smells yet another attempt of genocide of Jammu Muslims like that of 1947 when 5 lakh Muslims in Jammu were brutally massacred by communal Dogra and Indian forces to change the demography and majority status of Muslims in Jammu region.
The unabated oppression of Muslim majority in Jammu Kashmir is a well planned conspiracy to reduce them to minority and strengthen the illegal and forced occupation of India. In order to serve its nefarious intentions India has been inciting varying issues and provocations since 1947 to curb the sentiment of freedom and neutralize the ongoing freedom movement by engaging and trapping them in incitements and provocations in order to divert their attention from mission freedom. It is a matter of serious concern for the dominant Muslim majority and need to be more cautious about the nefarious intentions and machinations of India.
Naqash further said that in order to overcome this terrible and uncertain situation serious and committed persuasion of Mission freedom will serve the purpose. Once Jammu Kashmir is liberated from the forcible and illegal clutches of India all the incitements and provocations will cease to exist.Naqash stressed the need for arousing the sense of belonging with Jammu Muslims in order to build confidence among them about their deep rooted affinities with the Muslims of Valley and that they are with them in any situation and won’t leave them alone at the mercy of India and its Communal forces.
