People who are basically maligning the image of Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori they themselves stands nowhere and asked DCC President Kishtwar and others to refrain from using any derogatory remarks for Saroori.During the meeting held under the leadership of State Secretary JKPCC Thakur Jughal Bhandari which was attended by senior Congress Leader Kishtwar Mushtaq Ahmed Hap, Mohinder Singh Parihar, District President Congress Seva Dal Kishtwar Ravi Kumar, Chairman Himalayan Buddhist Association Padder Tashi Chering, Sarpanches Satish Kumar, Piyaray Lal Sharma, Noor Hussain, Kailash Chander, Hari Ram, President Sarpanch association block Chatroo Tariq Wani, President Sarpanch association block Drabshallah Iqbal Keen, President IYC Inderwal Mohammad Latief Mughal, VP IYC Inderwal Shaikh Basharat, Youth Leader from Kishtwar Suman Thakur and others.
“ So called Congress leaders including DCC President Kishtwar Pardeep Parihar, BCC President Kishtwar Ghulam Hassan Mir and Former youth President Sheikh Nasir were simply acting as a turn coat for opponents of Congress in Kishtwar--- they have left no stone unturned to damage the image of Congress party, Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and Congress MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori during 2008 election time with the help of ruling party National Conference and are acting as “B” team of NC in district Kishtwar”, Congress leaders said.The speakers said that DCC President Kishtwar and others did not enjoying support of Congress workers and is defunct by their deeds beside some poses themselves as Journalist and maligns the image of Officers and leaders just to garb money and to promote black mailing. "In the elections they tempered with the poster of Former Chief Minister J&K Ghulam Nabi Azad and wrote against Azad and Congress party just to malign them" said congress leaders.
"We are giving open challenge to DCC President and others to organize a rally of at least 1,000 people here at Kishtwar chowgan---- and we know that they can’t because masses have rejecting them and have no footing in the general public" Congress statement read.The Congress Leaders described Mr. Saroori as a charismatic person not in Inderwal constituency but in whole Erstwhile Doda district. They said that Saroori is conducting regular interaction with people and many opposition leaders/contesting candidates from Inderwal constituency in previous election from Assembly election (2008) have joined Congress party only because of Mr. Saroori who has impressed general public with his performance, spirit of public service and his immaculate character.Leaders also said that people of J&K in particular and Erstwhile Doda district in general are well aware that Saroori is not a yes man and do not fall under influences.
“From the last 20 years people have seen popular, fame and Saroori’s concerned towards the people is so much and we can say he is doing justice with the people of Inderwal constituency as a public servant”, Congress leaders said. They demanded immediate removal of Parihar from the post of District President Kishtwar on non performance bases. All the participants urged upon party High Command and In-charge J & K Ambika Soni to depute central team to Kishtwar to check the facts on grounds."Without any say, we are sure that in upcoming general assembly elections--- Saroori will win with a huge margin of more than 20,000 votes just because he represents the people irrespective of their colour, caste, creed, and religion and People reposed faith in Saroori all the time" challenges Congress leaders. They also throw challenge at BJP and NC to file any leader from the state against Saroori in Inderwal for Assembly elections against Saroori and said that everyone will face defeat because people of Inderwal love Mr. Saroori. They said that Saroori always exposed all those whose policies, and agenda is anti people and added that Saroori has always stood all the time for the welfare of common people and said that he (Saroori) will do the same in future. They said that people will judge the things via performances not by false and airy promises.All the speakers warn such elements to refrain stooping so low.The Congress leaders also appealed to high command to give Ghulam Haider Sheikh Mandate back for the 2014 election and termed him as only hope for the lovers of Congress to regain the seat back which they never won since 1985 in which Ghulam Hassan Arman defeated by National Conference candidate.They said that present coalition partner MLA Kishtwar Sajjad Kichloo also wishes to favor Congress District President Kishtwar Pardeep Parihar to contest on Congress ticket only to benefit his personal vote bank because of latter’s in-competency and novice maiden contest.
