Punjab Pradesh Congress committee today suffered a major setback in Ludhiana district when Mr. Bhagwan Das Sood, former Vice President of District Congress Committee Ludhiana and President Sood Sabha, Field Ganj Ludhiana joined Shiromani Akali Dal in the presence of S. Sukhbir Singh Badal President Shiromani Akali Dal here today. Speaking on the occasion after presenting a siropa to Mr. Sood, Mr. Badal welcomed him to Shiromani Akali Dal and said that the SAD would give adequate place and respect to the leaders coming to its ambit. He urged the leaders of the SAD to be geared up for the coming Parliament Elections and work hard to win all the 13 seats including Chandigarh seat for Shiromani Akali Dal.Deepak Sharma General Secretary, Youth Akali Dal, and leaders of SAD and YAD including Rishi Jain, Gaurav Sharma, Vijay Verma, Ashok Kumar, Gurmail Singh and Amit Puri were present on the occasion.
