A meeting of the Committee on Public Accounts (PAC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held under the Chairmanship of MLA, Mian Altaf Ahmed here today.The Committee discussed in detail the CAG’s audit paras pertaining to the Power Development Department (PDD) besides reviewing the functioning of the department. Legislators, M Y Tarigami, Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Ajay Nanda and Abdul Rashid Dar attended the meeting and gave their suggestions to improve the functioning of the department.Principal Secretary, PDD, S K Nayak apprised the Committee about the working of the department besides presenting the Action Taken Reports on the Audit Para’s.Among others, Senior Officers of Power Development Department besides officers and officials of Assembly Secretariat were also present on the occasion.
