Minister for CA&PD Department Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today convened a meeting of officers at Mini-Secretariat Ganderbal to review the physical and financial achievements registered under various sectors during annual plan 2014-15.The Minister was apprised about the financial performance of each department through a power-point presentation. It was given out in the meeting that an expenditure amounting to 80% of the approved amount has been made till the completion of the year in the district.Reviewing the performance of the CA&PD Department, the Minister asked the concerned authorities to ensure proper implementation of Consumer Protection Rights and keep close vigil on hoarding, profiteering and black marketing of essential commodities. The Minister had a detailed discussion on achievements registered by R&B, PDD and JKPCC and Social Welfare Departments. He further reviewed performance of PHE, Agriculture, Handloom, Rural Development, Education and other departments.The minister stressed upon the officers to improve their performance, work with dedication, and make judicious use of funds. He also enjoined upon them to be proactive and redouble their efforts in achieving the targets both physically and financially in future.MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, MLC Yasir Reshi, DDC Ganderbal Showkat Aijaz, Director CA&PD, ADC Ganderbal, CPO Ganderbal and all district officers were present in the meeting.
