Punjab Government To Induct 150 New Buses Under Kilometer Scheme

The Punjab Government would induct 150 new buses in its fleet so as to provide better transportation facilities to the people.Disclosing this, Managing Director, PRTC, Manjit Singh Narang said that tenders have been invited for this purpose on 17th April which would be opened on the same day.He further said that with this, the closed routes of PRTC amounting to 1 lakh kilometers would become operational soon. He also said that with the operationalisation of these buses, the PRTC would earn the revenue of 1 crore daily.
