The BJP today alleged that the frustrated Congress has now entered into live-in relationship with other opposition parties having contradictory stands on various issues just to oppose the Modi government and scuttle the process of development initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.He has also said that this wass an attempt to divert attention from the scams of UPA-I and UPA-II and cover up the role of Congress leaders including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Terming today's protest march led by Sonia Gandhi as just another attempt to grab attention after losing so badly in Lok Sabha elections and thereafter different states including Delhi, as just a 'failed attempt', BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh said that if Congress believes in democracy it should understand that mustering the support of only 110 MPs means that the 14 parties it led have no mandate to oppose any developmental initiative.
He said that some of the parties participating in the protest march could have been in alliance earlier but now the best term suited to them was 'live-in relationship' as most of them fought independently and against each other and have now joined hands after biting dust in successive polls.It is all the more surprising because the chief ministers of Congress ruled states had approached Prime Minister Modi to amend the land acquisition bill because they thought that it was creating hurdles in the smooth conduct of progressive ideas.
NDA government under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was taking steps that would usher in a new era and uplift the financial condition of the country but these decisions were opposed as Congress and other opposition parties know well that if Modi managed to deliver their role for the two terms would come under scanner and people would start questioning and slamming them for their non-performance.Sonia Gandhi was actually doing all this to save face as she, her family and the Congress party were being continuously exposed as skeletons have begun to tumble out of UPA closet.
