State BJP chief Kamal Sharma has welcomed the decision of the Punjab Government to slash the bus fares across the state terming it a late but correct decision.“Though the government has took this decision very late as the prices of diesel have come down heavily under six month tenure of NDA rule. It’s a late decision but will benefit immensely for the common public of the state,” said Sharma in a press statement issued from Chandigarh.Sharma said that Punjab government should have decreased the prices quite earlier as the prices of diesel have been reduced atleast one dozen time in the country under NDA rule.The Punjab BJP has took this matter with the state government on regular intervals in recent times and the party would continue do so on other issues as well. “More such relief should be given to the public by the government,” demanded Sharma.
