A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Srinagar, the BJP came down heavily upon the mainstream political camp here, saying the rally has ‘dropped many jaws’ and has ‘frustrated them at worst.’BJP spokesman Arun Kumar Gupta told KNS over phone that the rally held on December 8 at Srinagar by the Prime Minister was a ‘big success’ and  the approach adopted by him has been widely welcomed by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.“Frustration has dominated the mainstream camp here with some parties leveling bizarre charges against the rally held in Srinagar. We can understand their frustration and their feeling of isolation.

They have been exposed in front of the people of the state and very near is the time when we are going to put lid over the plunder of the state in which the dynastic parties partnering with the Congress have been doing since decades,” he said.Gupta He also reiterated BJP’s challenge to the Congress to hold a single rally in Srinagar ahead of the December 14 polls. “We have challenged Congress to get Rahul Gandhi here and conduct a rally in Srinagar so that they could show how much string is their ground in JK,” Gupta said, adding that the Prime Minister laid a milestone in the state by addressing a massive rally in the summer capital and the days ahead would be prosperous under the courageous leadership of Modi.
