Another deadly on Security Personnel in South Kashmir’s Anantanag district on late Friday evening. Reports said that suspected Militants shot at and critically injured a cop outside DC office.As per the Official Sources PSO Fayaz Ahmad Bhat (638A), a resident of Katrosu Kulgam was guarding the front gate of the District Development Commissioner’s Office in Islamabad when two unidentified persons appeared there and one of them fired upon the cop at a point blank-range. The single bullet according to police hit the skull of the cop who fell down in a pool of blood. Meanwhile, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Vijay kumar added that the injured Cop has been shifted to SKIMS in Srinagar while he is being treated upon. He also said that Militants managed to escape from the spot.
