To mitigate people's grievances Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, G M Saroori Saturday visited Khara area of Inderwal constituency and conveyed public grievances meeting to stock of the people’s problems and developmental needs.The people apprised Saroori about the problems being faced by them in their areas. The problems which were highlighted by people mainly related to health, early complete of road projects, issue of new ration cards for BPL, potable drinking water, replacement of transformers and early payment of MGNREGA job card holders. He issued on the spot instructions to the concerned officers to immediately addressed the problems which were raised by the people of 14 Panchayats of Khara area.Addressing the public Saroori said that the government was committed provide better facilities to the people of rural and far flung areas and several steps in this direction have been initiated. He said during the past twelve years in his tenure, his (Saroori) main focus was to upgrade the infrastructure in rural areas. He said health, education, drinking water, road connectivity and electricity were the basic facilities and it is primary duty of the government to ensure these for all.
He lauded the people of Khara Bhalessa for keeping the torch of communal harmony and brotherhood lighting even under difficult circumstances. He asked them to maintain and strengthen this characteristic and not to get astray by vested interests who try to pide them on region, religion, creed or caste for selfish ends.Earlier Saroori also met with youth of Khara Bhalessa and exchange various thoughts with youths during an interaction. He stressed that the youth should make every effort to carry the benefits of democracy to the poor and those who stand at the margins of the society.
Later Saroori opened the office of Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) at Khara in presence of large number of people. After opening new TSO office at Khara Saroori said the problems faced by the local people will be addressed at door step, beside will help in smooth distribution and supply of ration in this backward and unconnected area of the district.People of the Khara hails the efforts of MLA Inderwal G M Saroori in convincing the government for creation of separate TSO office for Khara which is long pending demand of the local people who faced alot of problems since they are falls under the jurisdiction of TSO Thathri which is under control of Doda district. TSO Rehmatullah Bhat and Storekeeper Haroon Ayub assumed the charge of office in the presence of MLA Inderwal and large number of people. People thanked MLA Inderwal G M Saroori, Minister CAPD Ch Mohd Ramzan and Director CAPD Jammu G S Chib for taking initiative in opening of the separate Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) for Khara.
Among others, Tehsildar Thathri, XEN PHE, R&B, BDO Thathri, AEE PDD, TSO Khara, ZEO Thathri, Congress Vice President Ch Abdul Rashid Kandar, Congress Block president Ghulam Haider Wani (Company), Jai Dev Singh, Haji Ghulam Mohd Mir, Mohd Ramzan Wani, Mohd Hussain, Bashir Ahmed Sirwal, Ch Noor Maey, Ch Jasham, Abdul Qayoom, Manzoor Ahmed, Abdul Majid Khandey, prominent citizens and people in large also attended the Darbar.
