Deputy Chief Minister Mr Tara Chand said that Government is committed to open new schools in uncovered areas,upgrade existing ones and fill up the vacant posts on fast track basis.Dy. Chief Minister was interacting several deputations of Valley particularly Qazigund, led by Member of Legislative Council, Devsar Mohammad Amin Bhat, who called on him to apprise about various problems confronting them.Tara Chand said that 70,000 posts lying vacant are being filled

up to solve unemployment problem and to provide manpower to various government departments so that the strengthening of offices is assured to extend all possible facilities to the people.Responding to the invitation to visit Devsar, the Deputy Chief Minister said that it is a regular feature to visit various areas to take stock of problems and also developmental activities under execution.Dy. CM said that General line teachers as well as Rehbar-e-Taleem vacancies shall be filled up by the local candidates to benefit the locals and ensure teaching facilities at the door-step of students.He said that government is engaged in building infrastructure for providing school buildings and also other facilities including teachers.
