MoUs worth Rs. 23,000 crore signed for investment in Himachal : Jai Ram Thakur

MoUs worth Rs. 23,000 crore were signed to bring investments to Himachal and state was ready to surge forward on the road of development. This was stated by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while interacting with media persons at Circuit House, Mandi. He said that in our honest effort to bring investment in every sector of the state, road shows in India and abroad were organized along with the meetings with foreign ambassadors and big industrialists in the past few months which has helped in branding of Himachal.He said that investors were made aware about availability of favourable atmosphere, strong law and order, peaceful, pollution free and pristine environment, and uninterrupted power supply at affordable prices which make Himachal a favourable destination for investment.Chief Minister said that Global Investor Meet will be held on 7 and 8 November, 2019 in Dharamshala and getting together of investors and industrialists here will bring a big change for the development of state. He also said that various steps are being taken for development of new tourist destinations in Bilaspur and Mandi to facilitate tourists. He said that efforts are being made to build Shiv Dham and develop lake on Beas River. Efforts are also being made to develop tourist spots for facilitating tourists visiting Manali.
