Ropar Police Nab Sharpshooter Of Notorious Rinda Gang With Weapons

It is another major success for Ropar Police that has nabbed 11 notorious criminals - category A and B - ever since Swapan Sharma took over charge as the SSP.Yadvinder along with his associates has been actively involved in running an extortion racket in the industrial area of Baddi and Nalagarh (H.P). Yaddi is member of Rinda gang, one of the last remaining major gang left in Punjab.Yaddi has also acted as a courier to carry drugs and contrabands for his gang in Punjab

Sharp Shooter Of Rinda Gang Caught In Ropar

Continuing their crusade against the organized gang culture in Punjab,Ropar Police has apprehended Yadvinder Singh @ Yaddi in this regard. 22 years of age, Yadvinder @ yaddi is affiliated to Rinda (Category A gangster) of Nanded, Maharashtra. Police has recovered three pistol of 315 bore, 12 bore and 32 bore from his possession. Yaddi is considered to be an expert marksman, who has several cases of murder, extortion and attempt to murder registered against him. Initial investigation reveal that Lucky and Sukhpreet Buddha of Moga helped Yadvinder to arrange the seized weapons from Uttar Pardesh. Police is in touch with their counterpart in Merrut (U.P.) to find the source of these weapons. This is one of the last remaining major gang left in Punjab having their hideouts in Pinjore, Mohali and Ambala. Yadvinder along with his associates have been actively involved in running an extortion racket in the industrial area of Baddi and Nalagarh (H.P.). Their targets have been wine contractors, toll plazas and metal kabadias. It has also come into light that this gang has sympathizers in foreign lands. Ropar SSP Swapan Sharma, revealed, "Communication between the Rinda gang members is being coordinated from Dubai."  On several occasions, Yadvinder has also acted as a courier to carry drugs and contrabands from Amritsar to Ambala on the instruction of Rinda.
