Member of Parliament and Congress Candidate from Ludhiana constituency Ravneet Singh Bittu said the SAD-BJP alliance is responsible for the plight of the Punjab. He said the leaders of SAD-BJP alliance have been involved in drug peddling while the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister are betraying people by making hollow promises.Mr. Bittu was addressing an election meeting in Atam Nagar Assembly Constituency Addressing gathering Mr. Bittu said the people of Punjab have casted their votes expecting that the SAD-BJP alliance would serve them, but irony is that Akalis have been selling drugs among the youth. The industry has moved to other states. Educated people are employed. As many of industrial units have been closed down, it directly affect the families of people who have lost the jobs.
Chiding SAD-BJP leaders and independent candidate who is MLA from the area said they have been playing politics on mix land use in Atam Nagar area and they have made mockery of the system.The people have been remembering dedication of Giani Zail Singh and Beant Singh and for the development they have brought to Punjab.Dr. Malti Thapar President Women Congress said the congress will register win on all 13 seats in Punjab. She said the people are irked with Sad-BJP leaders. The people are ready to announce their verdict.
