Youth of our country are the future of our nation and represent the most dynamic section of population as their actions contribute to the development of a nation like India. This was stated by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing the students during the ‘Chatr Samwad’ Programme organized at ‘National Sanskrit Vidyapeeth’, Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh today.Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister said nations are regularly re-imagined by young people, who often offer visions of nationhood counter to those constructed by older generations and transmitted through such mechanisms as schooling. Vision and future of any country lies in the hands of its youths they are filled with tremendous and towering ambitions. It will be a great wastage of human resources if these youths are not given an opportunity to exercise their talent, he added.Jai Ram Thakur said that the primary role of young people is to get a good education in order to become better citizens of tomorrow. They need to learn skills to do the job to fulfil their economy needs and the entire success of the nation depends on the youths. He said that the youth have the power to transform the nation into a better place and also have the ability to lead their fellow citizens into the right direction as they are fighters.The Chief Minister said that the youth are problem solvers and nations need them to resolve most of our problems they have the ability to face any challenges and problems that also offers positive influence on their fellow young people. He said that it was unfortunate that drug epidemic continues to rage amongst youth of our nation which was an area of concern that thwart the bright future of our nation. He urged the youth the fight this social vice by helping the young people to come out of the trapped in the vicious cycle of drug abuse.

Jai Ram Thakur said that education, employment and empowerment  were three key elements that contribute towards the progress of a nation and all these depends on how well our youth is educated and empowered. He said that the Centre Government under the dynamic leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched several schemes to empower our youth. Effective steps have been taken to promote the rights of youth and involve them in community decision-making. He said that it is important to channelize the energy and intelligence of youths in the right direction and provide them employment opportunities as per their potential or they may move to a wrong track in life.The Chief Minister also administered Pulse Polio drops to children on the occasion. He also urged the people of the state to administer pulse polio drops to all their children below the age of five years to making out nation a polio free nation.He also visited the library and ancient scriptures of the occasion and envisaged keep interest in it.Vice Chancellor of Nation Sanskrit Vidyapeeth Prof. G.S.R.Krishnamurti and Dean Education Prof. Praladh Joshi welcomed the Chief Minister.Students of Himachal Pradesh studying in this institute also called on the Chief Minister.Yesterday the Chief Minister also participated in the meeting of state BJP Office bearers at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.
