Director General of Police J&K, Dilbag Singh, who also holds the charge of DG Prisons has ordered Insitu-promotion of 41 personnel of Prisons department. The promotions were cleared by the Departmental Promotion Committee which met at Police Headquarters here today under the chairmanship of DG.The personnel in favour of whom the grade promotions were ordered include one Head Warder Driver, 31 Sg. Warders, three Warders, one steno typists, one Sr. assistant, one Junior assistant, two orderlies and one barber. The personnel belongs to different jails of the department.The cases of these personnel were scrutinized by the DPC and were found fit for insitu-promotion in next scale Shri Dilbag Singh has congratulated the promoted personnel and has wished them a happy and prosperous future.
