Divisional Commissioner Jammu Hemant Kumar Sharma today convened a meeting to review the arrangements for devotees visiting Kashmir to attend annual Mela Kheer Bhawani fair.The annual fair at Tulmulla Ganderbal, Kashmir falling on 20th June witness huge foot fall from across the state country and abroad.Threadbare discussions were held about various issues including the transport facility for devotees, the security arrangement enroute and the escorting of the fleet of pilgrim buses.The meeting also identified the place for departure of the pilgrims and arrangements for flagging off the yatra.The Divisional Commissioner called for maintaining close coordination among the departments entrusted with the arrangements.The meeting was attended by senior functionaries of various departments and representatives of religious organizations.
