Member of Parliament and Congress candidate from Ludhiana constituency Mr. Ravneet Singh Bittu got strength when Baba Vishawkarma International Foundation announced support to Mr. Bittu. Foundation held a meeting at Gill road in this context. Foundation members told their decision to MLA Gurkeerat Singh Kotli and Senior Congress Leader KK Bawa.Foundation members said that former Chief Minister Beant Singh had scarified his life to restore peace in Punjab. The credit of development of Ludhiana also goes to late Beant Singh. The members said following the morals of his grandfather Mr. Bittu has initiated crusade against drug peddling in the state and held anti drug peddling marches in whole Punjab. The members said they welcome decision of Congress party to field Mr. Bittu from Ludhiana and strengthen the bond between Ludhiana and martyr’s family.
Foundation chief Ghanshyam Lotey said Punjab is land of Gurus and prophets. The foundation always followed the path shown by Gurus and prophets and sternthened brotherhood among all citizens. He said the foundation demands after winning the election Mr. Bittu to put efforts for holiday in the memory of tenth Guru Shri Guru Gobind Singh all over the country.MLA Mr. Kotli said the people from various religions and castes live in India and the country is perfect example of brotherhood. He said, congress party works for integrity of country and brotherhood and late Chief Minister Beant Singh and other congress leaders have laid their lives for it. Congress believes in development of country and ten years long reign of Congress was dedicated to development.
Senior Congress leader KK Bawa said in the reign of SAD-BJP corruption, drug-addiction and unemployment has increased to its extreme. The industry has moved to other states. The SAD-BJP alliance has made castles in the air in the name of development, whether congress believes in action instead of making tall claims. The people of Punjab would cast their votes in favor of congress.Foundation member Surinder Singh, Balwinder Singh Hunjan and Pal Singh Matharu thanked all who were present in the meeting. He said only congress can serve all religions, casts and sects.
