Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today welcomed the students from various educational institutions including Air Force School Satwari Cantonment and Institute of Mass Communication, North Regional Campus Jammu in the assembly.The students witnessed the proceedings while the discussion on Demand for Grants of the Department of Power, Housing and Urban Development Departments was going on.The students were invited by the Speaker, to watch the proceedings being conducted in the House and personally see how the public issues are being raised by the Legislators.Interacting with the students in his Office Chamber, the Speaker welcomed them in the House and expressed the hope that the experience of watching proceedings will help them in understanding the functioning of the legislature especially how the representatives discuss the issues of public importance for the development of the people.
