Secretary School Education Farooq Ahmad Shah convened a meeting to review the progress on implementation of various schemes and initiatives by the department.In the meeting Director School Education Kashmir Dr G N Itoo, Joint Directors, Principal SIE, all DIET Principals and all the Chief Education Officers were present.Secretary School Education directed all the Chief Education officers to forward the details of vacancies in their respective districts and also directed them to implement the CM's Super -50 coaching program in letter and spirit.Shah took stock of the progress of the works on the construction of auditorium at SIE being built at a cost of Rs 10 crore and sought details about the distribution of free text books, implementation of schemes under SSA and RMSA. He also directed principal SIE and DIET principals to formulate an elaborate plan for the training of teachers in winter. “All CEOs have been asked to ensure the timely distribution of free uniforms.Secretary School Education also held an important meeting with heads of the private schools and impressed upon them to act upon all the orders issued by the department.
