Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana today convened a meeting with the civil society members and discussed various issues pertaining to development of the district.PO IWMP Inderjeet Parihar, DPO Kishtwar Sunil Butyal, District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar Phulail Singh, Tehsildar Kishtwar Tanveer ul Majeed and other district officers were also present on the occassion.The focus of the meeting related to improving basic facilities including sanitation, water facilities, road connectivity, availability of ration and electricity , augmenting medicare facilities ,improving saffron production besides other public issues were also discussed in the meeting.While speaking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner highlighted the importance of these interactive sessions in bridging the gap between the society and the administration adding that public partaking is vital to achieve the developmental goals.He also directed the district officers to redress the issues of the general public in a timebound manner.Participants assured their cooperation to the district administration in strenthening the initiatives to ensure socio economic development of the area and better implementation of welfare programmes.
