CNS Stating that Congress has the legacy of uniting people and serving them to the best of its ability, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir said today that Congress is capable of defeating BJP RSS menace dividing people on religious and regional lines to serve their vested interests. Mir also hit out at PDP for enabling RSS to make inroads in the State. G.A. Mir who was on two day’s visit to Ladakh division addressed Senior Party Leaders and workers of District Congress Committee Kargil today and reviewed the organizational affairs and activities in the District. On this occasion Senior Leaders MLA Asgar Karbalai, Former Minister Haji Nissar Ali, Gulam Raza and others were present and addressed the meeting. The leaders briefed the President of political activities of Congress Party in the District. Addressing the meeting G.A. Mir emphasized that every Congress men should feel dutybound to unite people in all the three regions as that will be real defeat to communal and fascist forces dividing regions to serve their vested interest. He said our people are suffering immensely on every count due to wrong policies of the both State and Centre Govt, besides the negative rhetoric on the part of BJP Leadership in manifestation of their insincerity and dual standards.He said I am not bewildered to see the ins negative approach of BJP towards the State, as that, they are in habit of sending confusing signals across the country try to change the narratives, but at the sametime, Mir added that people in all the three regions have realized what BJP PDP is saying and what they are doing leading to the mistrust and deep alienation among the people.He said Congress has the legacy of Unity People and serving them to their best of its ability will continue to fight against the discrimination and politics of exploitation by PDP BJP in the State and won’t allow them to play with the emotions of people for political benefit.
