On the instructions of District Development Commissioner kupwara a meeting of RDD and Panchayat Raj officials conduct a meeting to discuss matters relating to the works plan carried out by the RDD and panchayat Raj in various blocks of the district during 2017-18 under implementation of different schemes in the rural areas. A meeting regarding making the district kupwara open defecation free was held in the DC office complex Kupwara which was chaired by the Chief planning officer Kupwara in which district Panchayat officer, block development officers and other technical staff was present in the meeting to discuss various matters regarding implementation of rural development and Panchayat Raj schemes in their respective areas were reviewed thread barely during the meeting it was stated that 10 blocks of district kupwara shall be made open defecation free by December 2018. While speaking on the occasion the chair stressed upon the implementing and executing agencies to carry out the works under mission mood and BDO’s should aim at speedy coverage of IHHL units in the district and emphasis that MIS data entry of the progress achieved should be completed with the next two days for the month of august 2017.
