Manipal Hospitals to mark Doctor’s Day on July 1st coordinated a mega live chat in a first of its kind live chat on Facebook called HEALTH VIBES. This was one of the Longest Facebook live chat on Health. An attempt to win India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records by 100 doctors and 100 departments and 100 different topics.In record time of 8 Hours Manipal Hospitals interviewed 70 doctors live covering 68 clinical topics. Two Senior Doctors spoke broadly about non clinical issues of patient centric approach and about the demise of a Doctor - Patient relationship. However even after breaking the record, the team continued to interview and achieve maximum number of interviews and went on to complete a century 100 doctors and 102 topics.The team of Doctors were from all specialties like cardiology, pediatrics, orthopedics , neurology, nephrology, dental Medicine, genetics, and so on. The Facebook live chat garnered more than 3500 likes and 10000 viewers with 1000 plus questions and comments .
