State Vigilance Bureau, during its ongoing campaign against corruption today nabbed a Suwidha Centre incharge Ferozepur Yogesh Kumar Saini red handed accepting bribe of Rs. 3000.Disclosing this here today a spokesman of Vigilance Bureau Punjab said Yogesh Kumar Saini, Incharge posted at Suwidha Centre Ferozepur was caught red handed by a vigilance team led by Satprem Singh Inspector VB Unit Ferozepur while he was demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 3000 from complainant Shamsher Singh for making correction in death certificate of his brother-in-law.Giving details he said the complainant approached the VB and alleged that the above named accused were demanding bribe of Rs. 3000 from him. After verifying his complaint the VB team laid a trap and the accused was caught red handed and tainted money recovered from him in the presence of two official witnesses. He informed that a case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against him and further investigation was under progress.
