Stating that Mehbooba Mufti Govt is brutalizing people under the garb of maintaining law and Oder, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G A Mir Monday condemned the use of force by State Police on students of various colleges leading to the massive clashes. In a statement issued to KNS, Mir termed the ‘raining of shells and harassment’ as ‘a gift from Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to people of Kashmir’, saying that Govt has crossed all limits of brutalities. He said this is the height of brutalities & highhandedness on the part of ruling dispensation led by Mehbooba Mufti, which is hell bent upon to crush the genuine voice of people to satisfy it’s master BJP RSS.Lashing out at failure of the Govt on all fronts, G.A. Mir blamed Chief Minister for being responsible for the incident of violence, saying that she has miserably failed to ensure peaceful atmosphere. It would have been far better, if the Chief Minister who is also Home Minister directed Forces not to enter Educational Institutions, which is the cause behind rising among anger the students. This is not only heinous, but a shameful act.Stating that Chief Minister has lost control over the Administration, G.A. Mir said this is unfortunate that Mehbooba Mufti is not even in a position to say anything on harassment of innocent people, leading to the alienation of the common masses in the entire Kashmir Valley. Describing the protest by Students as genuine, G.A.Mir said that interference in Educational Institutions and harassment of students is unacceptable and will not be tolerated, he added.Seeking stern action against those personnel responsible for incident of harassment, Congress President said that Govt should stop provoking people by terrorizing them under the garb of maintaining law & order, he said.
