Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmed Khan, today held a meeting to review pending land acquisition and forest clearance cases of BRO.Deputy Commissioners of Baramulla, Anantnag and Bandipora, Additional Deputy Commissioners of Kupwara and Ganderbal attended the meeting through video conferencing. Additional Commissioner, Chief Conservator of Forests Kashmir and other officials were present during the meeting.During the meeting, Div Com directed BRO to complete the process of alignment for forest clearance within a month’s time.The issues relating the financial aspects of different projects were raised and the Div Com directed the concerned officials to release the allotted money within 15 days. Div com directed the concerned officials to expedite works and resolve all the issues at the earliest so that the developmental process is taken forward.
