Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Khurshed Ahmad Sanai, today flagged-off exposure tour for sheep breeders of the district to acquaint them with latest technological interventions in Sheep Husbandry sector.During the exposure tour organized by Sheep Husbandry Department Bandipora under centrally sponsored scheme ATMA, as many as 50 progressive sheep breeders will visit Government sheep Breeding form Hardushiva Baramula where they will be imparted latest know how of sheep breeding and rearing by experts of the field. It was said that the sheep breeders will be imparted necessary training in housing of livestock, pattern of sheds, proper ventilation and feeding pattern of live stock, besides the sheep breeders will also be sensitized about pen system of housing where controlled breeding is obtained for sustainable production. On the occasion, the ADC said that such tours will help the breeders to acquaint themselves with the latest technology and practices and asked them to make best use of the training programme.
