Ek sharabi, ek jhootha, ek ghuggi – Captain Amarinder slams Kejriwal’s gang of shameless crooks

Punjab Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday cornered the key leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over their shocking acts of misdemeanor and crimes, accusing Arvind Kejriwal and his band of crooks of endangering Punjab and its people with their grave assaults on the democratic and social institutions of the state.While Kejriwal himself had exposed his extremist ideology by staying at the house of a KFC commando, other AAP leaders had also shown their true colours, proving that they had only their personal interests at heart, Captain Amarinder said at public rallies in the Sangrur district.In a scathing attack on Kejriwal and his cronies, including Bhagwant Mann, Bhagwant Mann and Gurpreet Ghuggi (Waraich), Captain Amarinder said this greedy and shameless bunch of AAP leaders has brought the entire political class to shame with their unabashed acts of commission and omission at various forums, not sparing even a sacred institution like Parliament. “Ek sharabi hai to doostra jhootha aur teesra ghuggi,” quipped Captain Amarinder, adding that Kejriwal was their king with his habit of making false promises and misleading people with his pretensions of a clean image.
 Kejriwal’s AAP, with its extreme ideology, poses a serious danger of return of terrorism to Punjab, which is still struggling to recover from the aftermath of its earlier tryst with extremism, warned Captain Amarinder, hitting out at the AAP national convenor over his nefarious designs against the state.Captain Amarinder later told a group of journalists that the brazen disregard of law by Kejriwal was a matter of serious concern. He cited Kejriwal’s defiance of the Election Commission over the bribery issue, as well as the latest incident of an RTI activist, who had come to Chandigarh Press Club to expose the AAP leader, being forced to move to a secure hideout after threat to his life. The RTI activist, M.K. Thakur, was shifted to safety by the police after he was reportedly threatened, the PPCC president pointed out, adding the AAP extremist mindset was a danger to one and all.In his public address, Captain Amarinder said that under Kejriwal’s leadership, the entire party was in the grip of crime and corruption, and added that while Waraich was busy trying to befool people, like a `ghuggi’, HS Phoolka was making money at the cost of innocent Sikhs.
While Phoolka had been projecting himself as saviour of the Sikh community, claiming to be fighting the cases of the 1984 victims free of cost, he was actually collecting funds from abroad and charging the DGMC for the same, said Captain Amarinder, lambasting the AAP leader over his shocking greed. Turning his attention to Mann, Captain Amarinder said the AAP leader used to reek of alcohol whenever he came across the latter in Parliament House. The PPCC chief pointed out that Mann had not even spared a somber occasion like a funeral from his drunken misbehaviour and was a blot on Punjab’s political fabric.The entire AAP leadership was out to virtually lynch the people of Punjab, said Captain Amarinder, warning the voters to stay away from them and now put their future at stake by playing into their hands.
