Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh inaugurating 8 branches of Kangra central co-operative bank on line at Dharamshala in Kangra district on 20 Jan 2017.Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh dedicated eight branches of Kangra Central Co-operative Bank Pvt. Limited (KCCB) online today at Dharamshala in the premises of the main office of the bank. These branches included Palampur Main, Panchrukhi, Padhiarkhar, Mahakal and Bhawarana in Kangra district and Thanakalan, Mubarikpur and Harsi in Una district.Addressing a gathering on the occasion, he expressed satisfaction over the progress made by the bank. He said that today 210 branches of the bank were operating in five zones in the state. The bank had a business of over Rs.13490.69 crores. Kangra district has 106 branches whereas Una 30, Kullu 26, Hamirpur 42 and Lahaul-Spiti had 6 (Six).Earlier, Chairman KCCB Shri Jagdeesh Sipaya welcomed the Chief Minister.Forest Minister Shri Thakur Singh Bharmauri, Urban Development Minister Shri Sudhir Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Shri C.P. Verma and senior officers of the bank were present in the function.
