Expressing concerns over the growing graph of heinous crimes in Punjab, State Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gurpreet Singh Waraich today said that law & situation in Punjab has stooped new low which could be evident from the loot of foreign tourists in the holy of city of Amritsar.Such incident of loot of foreign tourists has brought bad name for Punjab and Akali Government has proved big failure to tackle the increased number of crimes, Waraich said adding that Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal, who holds Home Portfolio too, has no right to continue on his post.“Earlier Badals were looting the state and now they have let loose their goons too to loot the people, which can be gauged from the fraud of Rs 400 crore by son of an Akali leader, who was not even detained by the Punjab Police”, Waraich said even a minor girl was kidnapped and killed in Banga and some days back an Akali leader was caught for kidnapping and demanding ransom. There is complete politicisation of police by Akalis, as Cops do not act tough against criminals due to political pressure, Waraich said adding that even Director General of Police (DGP), Punjab Suresh Arora himself admitted operation of as many as 52 gangs in Punjab.Days of Akali Govt is numbered in the state and once voted to Power, Aam Aadmi Party ((AAP) would bring back the enforcement of law of land in the state on priority, AAP Convener said.
