Kavinder Gupta inaugurates Aadhar enrolment camp takes stock of people's problems

Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta Sunday inaugurated a special Aadhar enrolment camp at his residence, Gandhi Nagar.Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that Aadhaar enrolment camps will be organized across Jammu to cover remaining population and ease the process. He said that to expedite the biometric registration special localized enrolment camps in every area will be organized which will help bring this service to people’s doorsteps .Speaker also visited Nai Basti where people of the area projected their demands regarding the development of the area which include improvement of sewerage system, construction of nallahs, beautification of Vijay Park, cleaning of canal, repairing of street lights, election of local bodies etc.While responding to the demands of the people, Kavinder assured them that their genuine problems would be redressed on priority basis.Speaker was accompanied by Joint Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, R.S. Jamwal, SDM South, Sonu Pargal, Executive Engineers of UEED and PHE, Rajan Sharma and VK Khajuria, Ex-Corporator, Pawan Singh and other officers from various departments.Later, the Speaker attended a felicitation programme organized by the Indian Art Centre wherein he distributed Basohli paintings among  the students who are being trained in the institute .Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta appreciated the organizer for his initiative to promote and acquaint students with Basohli art.

The programme was organized by MK Wadhera.
