Aam Aadmi Ex-Servicemen Wing Convener, Capt. Bikramajit Singh, Shaurya Chakra, condemned the Badal Government over allowing the liquor mafia's writ to run in Punjab. In a statement issued today, AAP said the liquor mafia in state being patronized by the ruling alliance killed Ex-Serviceman Beant Singh of Moga when he got into an altercation with the liquor mafia henchmen who were indulging in black marketing as the liquor vend had been sealed. Beant Singh told the henchmen to stop the illegal sale, but henchmen retaliated by beating him up and subsequently killing him."The SAD has let loose a reign of terror that is looting the state and indulging in black marketing.
The case is similar to the Bhim Tank murder case in which SAD man and liquor contractor Shiv Lal Doda was directly involved. Capt. Bikramjit said that criminals are killing people in state but the government is doing nothing to catch them.Targeting Sukhbir Capt. Bikramjit said that the governments at centre and state are anti-army and have failed to give due respect to the ex-servicemen. Modi government had promised to implement one rank one pension before elections but after getting power it stepped back and left the Ex-Servicemen to die. Even Capt. Amrinder Singh is trying to mint votes of ex-servicemen but did nothing for them when there was congress government at centre.
